After a few weeks without posting, I guess it’s time for me to post another song. Well, I write this song in 2001. Yes, it’s really an old song. But it just got its lyrics recently (2004, well not that recently). It took me a really long time to write the lyrics. Well, maybe I am not inspired enough or I’m too lazy to write the lyrics . I think the later reason is the main reason. Anyway, as usual, my voice is not that flattering and the background music/backup vocal is somehow embarassing. So, please be open minded when hearing the song. I imagine this song to be sing by female with soft voice. Maybe Velvet AF4, I dunno. I’m also imagining for the backup vocal, it’ll be using primary school girl voice.

For those who did not understand malay, this song is about finding your way after bad things happen to you. It’s also about believe that someday good things may happen if you did not give up hope too early. Heheh, I guess this song is cheesy. Anyway, ENJOY!!!

Ku Ingin Pergi is a song about wanting to achieve what you dreamt of but doing nothing to make it happen. It’s a song about, “I’ll have to move on, I can’t be in this state forever, I’ll have to move forward if I want to reach my dream”. Senang cerita, lagu ni mengenai ‘hijrah’.

In my mind, when I think of the song, I think of ‘diva-like’ voice. Maybe Nikki or Idayu. I dunno. In my mind, the song is accompanied by piano. Ignore my backing vocal (and my vocal). It’s horrendous. The backing vocal should be something like church-like vocal. Hope you guys like it.

After a long time I’ve ‘created’ this song, finally I have the guts to let other people hear it. So I put it on the internet. Believe it or not, it took me 30 minutes to complete the song, while riding my motorcycle, on the way to class, from my rented house to university, back in 2002. I was just start humming some melody and walla!!

I’m sorry if the quality of the recording is fanstatically awful to the max. The reason: 1) I don’t really master the audio software. I don’t really know how to edit correctly or add effect on the song. I guess i have to keep learning. 2) I know nothing bout music. I don’t really know how to write/read music and how to play instrument. All that I know, I can create melody by always singing unknown tune and imagining it. Hehehe…. So instead of playing guitar or piano as the background music, I play it using my “mouth”.. All the beats are me humming or me snapping my finger. Feel free to leave comment. Remember, please don’t judge the voice cause I know it’s not ‘Idol’ material, just judge the song.

Song info: Basically, this is a breakup song. A guy wanna break the relationship with a girl, just because she is not in his heart anymore. And the girl couldn’t handle it. Simple lyrics. It took me like only half an hour to write the lyrics. That’s why it quite meleleh/jiwang melampau/cheesy/corny/puke.. Heheheh
